This term encompasses a whole range of exercises aimed at improvement directly of the muscular and indirectly of the organic systems. All kinds of general and specific exercises can be carried out, with or without apparatus or light weights, individually or with partners. They can take place anywhere and,  the form they take, they can develop power, endurance, elasticity and flexibility. They are therefore ideal for inclusion in the general preparation.
